Disney's animated musical, The Princess and the Frog, gives a much desired facelift to the old-fashioned frog prince tale. Inventively set in the New Orleans Jazz age, the film follows protagonist Tiana as she rafts along to realise her father's dream – to own a gourmet restaurant. Her foil Charlotte La Bouff is a powder-puffing daddy's girl who pines for a fairytale prince. What ensues is a series of adventures and misadventures that lead up to the quintessential happily ever after....
